Lions Angel Tree
Family Assistance for Christmas
SIGN UP FOR THE
FORNEY LIONS CLUB ANGEL TREE
Forney Lions Club Families who need assistance with
Christmas gifts for their children and who live in the Forney
Independent School District are invited to attendone of two
signups. Families who need assistance with Christmas gifts
for their children and who live in the Forney Independent
School District are invited to attend one of two signups.
The signups will be held on:

No signups will be taken by telephone. In order to help the
greatest number of children, the Forney Lions Club has
established the following qualifications: (1) Children 13 years
old and younger are eligible. (2) The person signing up the
children must be a parent or legal guardian of the children
and show a photo ID. If the address on the photo ID is not in
the Forney Independent School District, please bring a
current utility bill with the correct, current address. (3) The
children must live in the Forney Independent School District
Liberty, Intelligence,
Our Nation’s Safety
with the parent or legal guardian. (4) A birth certificate for each child must be presented. (5) Families receiving assistance
for Christmas gifts from other agencies are ineligible.
The person who signs up the children must be present, with their photo ID, when picking up the gifts at the Christmas party
on Sunday, December 20 at Johnson Elementary School Cafeteria.
Each Angel will receive 2 sets of clothing and toys. Each household will receive a generous food basket.
If you have questions about the Angel Tree Program, please attend one of these signup events.
At the Forney Christmas on Main event on December 5th, the Lions Club will set up an Angel Christmas Tree at their booth.
The community is invited to stop by and adopt one or more of the Angels.
